Signs from God prove this Bible text

Even paraphrase translations of the Bible are adequate to lead people into salvation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Identifying the original Hebrew and Greek texts, out of thousands of ancient handwritten copies, is done to prove how supernatural is the Bible. And God is providing proofs through supernatural signs, that He is indeed the Author of the Bible.

Signs from God prove this Bible text

In the original text of the Bible, there are exactly 847,884 letters of the Hebrew alphabet in all the words from Genesis chapter 1 to the end of Proverbs chapter 8.

Why is this worth noting? Because it proves the text. And it proves the text of the Greek of the New Testament! That’s a big statement! To explain ...

847,884 is 12 x 70657. 70657 is a prime number. It is indivisible.

12 shows up in the plain text of the Bible in significant ways. There were 12 tribes of Israel. There were 12 apostles of Jesus. The book of Revelation mentions 144,000 men … twice. In chapter 7 it’s a remnant out of the 12 tribes of Israel, and in chapter 14 there are 144,000 standing on Mt Zion, with Jesus.

144 is 12 x 12. 144,000 is 12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10. 10, in Jewish thought, is the full manifestation of something. 10 x 10 x 10 is symbolic of the full and final manifestation of something.

144,000 seems to symbolize the complete number of saved Jews and Gentiles. Be that as it may, we see that the Bible features the number 12, and not in a random way.

847,884 is 12 x 70657. 70657 is the 7000th prime number. That’s precise … 7000. And 7000 is 7 x 10 x 10 x 10.

Seven shows up in the Bible in significant ways … in the number of days of creation, in the feasts of Israel, and in many places in the book of Revelation. 7 is generally accepted to signify the seal of God. 7 x 10 x 10 x 10 cannot be a chance result. It seems to signify the achieving of a perfect state of something in His people.

So, why might it be that this number of letters (of all things) … 847,884 should prove the original Hebrew text, up to the end of Proverbs chapter 8? Yes, the breakdown of 12 x the 7000th prime number is: 12 … a number that represents a complete group of people, and 7 … a number that represents God’s hand in events, and 10 x 10 x 10 … a full and final fulfillment.

Why to the end of Proverbs chapter 8? Because Proverbs chapter 8 is about wisdom.

There are two inanimate things in the Bible that had pre-existence. The first is water. In Genesis chapter 1 it says: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and … the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the waters.” (Genesis 1:1-2)

On Day 1 God created light (Genesis 1:3-5)

On Day 2 God separated the waters below from the waters above. (Genesis 1:7)

In these passages there is no mention of water being created. Water, it seems, was already in place.

Water is essential for life. And water is also a symbol. The Bible indicates that water is also symbolic of the Word of God.(Ephesians 5:26). And the Bible says that Jesus is the living Word. (John 1:1,14)

And the other inanimate thing that had pre-existence was wisdom. In Proverbs chapter 8 it says that the LORD (Jesus) was the possessor of all wisdom even before His works of creation (Proverbs 8:22-31).

Jesus is the embodiment of wisdom. And wisdom is found, and developed, in relationship with Jesus.

So, when the Bible spells this out, in Proverbs chapter 8, the Bible establishes a link, and a path, between Genesis chapter 1 and Proverbs chapter 8. And there are these 847,884 Hebrew letters in all the words of the text, and this is 12 x the 7000th prime number. That seems to be by design.

Why the emphasis on the number of letters? The Hebrew word for a letter of the alphabet is an אות. And the Hebrew word for a miraculous sign from God is the same … an אות. On this website: thelivingword.org.au ... there is a video series that demonstrates that each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet is a sign, pointing to Jesus.

Now we turn our attention to the New Testament. The New Testament presents Jesus … the Savior of all who believe in Him. Jesus is the fulfillment of the types and shadows of the Old Testament.

So, we can say, the passage from Genesis 1 to Proverbs 8, the connecting path from the water of the Word to the wisdom of God, finds fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

In the New Testament there are exactly 688,623 letters in all the words in the original Greek text. Add this to the 847,884 letters of our Hebrew passage, and we get 1,536,507 letters. And 1,536,507 is 3 x 7 x 3 x 29 x 29 x 29.

In John chapter 1 it says that Jesus is the LOGOS, the Word. The numeric value of LOGOS is 373. 3 7 3 times 29 x 29 x 29. And 29 is the 10th prime number.

Now we see patterns:12 x the 7000th prime number in the Hebrew text up to Proverbs 8 is 12 and 7 x 10 x 10 x 10.

3 7 3 and the 10th prime number x the 10th prime number x the 10th prime number in all the New Testament text, added to this Hebrew.

Each of these highlighted numbers is significant in the Bible. 12 ... 7 ... 373 and 10 x 10 x 10

It's hard not to see mathematical design in the original text. It’s supernatual. And it’s not about a random piece of Scripture. It’s about vital spiritual matters. And they find fulfillment in Jesus Christ. We are talking about more than 350,000 words, out of the original text … more than 1.5 million letters … and we arrive at these patterns.

Remove even one letter (or add one letter that wasn’t there in the original writing) and the patterns disappear.

That surely means that we have identified the original texts, and it is of particular note that it helps to verify the original Greek text of the New Testament.
